Still on hold

Re: Production on hold

Feb, 2010: Here's an update almost 2 years in the making. Apparently, I was too overwhelmed in 2009 for even the smallest update.  My family has seen a lot of changes since 2007. I am now a Penn State MBA graduate (yay!). In fact, it is so nice to have some free time that I hesitate to fire souvenir building production back up right away.

My son is at the Air Force Academy (proud father alert) and will soon become a 3rd degree cadet (that's sophomore in civilian lingo). He's doing very well with impressive performance in academics, military and physical categories.

Well, all of that to say my priorities have shifted since 2007 and I'm not sure I want to make buildings anymore. If I do, it will be on a limited basis with unpredictable offerings on Ebay.

Aug, 2008: I am currently in the 2nd semester of the MBA program and things are going well. The courses are very interesting such as, finance, economics, accounting, statistics, and organizational development to name a few. As the price of oil hovers in the $120/barrel range, it is obvious to me that my costs would be so high right now that I would probably be out of business had I not quit when I did. I never did have "economies of scale or scope" to use an economic term.

Nov, 2007: As a newly enrolled student in Penn State's graduate program, I do not have the time to make souvenir buildings for the foreseeable future. This site will be accessible on the net and I will complete any current orders that are now on the books. However, I will no longer accept new orders until further notice. I plan to fire up the production shop again in a couple of years. Maybe sooner, who knows...

Note: There is no inventory on the shelf
