John Hancock Tower

Height to roof: 241 meters
Date built: 1976
Use: Office
Location: 200 Clarendon St., Boston
Architecture: I.M Pei

This is a solid metal souvenir replica of the Hancock Tower of Boston. The height measures 3.6". The base of this cool paperweight is a 2" x 1.2" parallelogram. On the front, the base reads in raised lettering, "HANCOCK". On the right side, "TOWER". On the back, "BOSTON". And left side, "241M"

Boston's tallest building is a glittering glass parallelogram called the John Hancock Tower and stands sleekly on its own in Copley Square, away from the high-rise area of downtown. Despite its enormity in its local area, its presence is made less overpowering by its pure, crystal-like geometry and reflecting glass skin.

Interestingly, this is the high-rise frequently shown in the Boston skyline establishment shots of the sitcom "Cheers".
