This is a solid metal souvenir replica of the Bear Stearns Building of New York City. The height measures 4.2". The base is 1.5" square. On the front, the base reads in raised lettering, "Bear Stearns". On the right side, "231 M". On the back, "NYC". And left side, "2001"

The $280 million Bear Stearns World Headquarters building at 383 Madison Avenue was a very challenging structure to build. This planned 1.2 million-sq.-ft., 45-story office tower was not only being constructed over MTA/Metro-North Commuter Railroad tracks, but to do so required several structural systems to accommodate a design that begins as a rectangle and morphs into an octagon.
