This is a solid metal souvenir replica of the Solow Building of New York City. Overall height measures 3.5". The base of this cool paperweight measures
2.3" x 1.25". On the front, the base reads in raised lettering, "Solow Bldg". On the back, "NYC". Left side, "1974" and right side, "210M". |

The 52 story building has a gently sloping base and is clad in dark glass on two sides. The curve theme of the Solow Building was chosen to utilize the setback regulations
to the fullest by removing the traditional right-angled setbacks and introducing a sweeping facade instead. The other two sides have recessed bays with distinctive X braces. In front of the
building, on the 57th Street side, is a steel sculpture by Ivan Chermayeff: a red number nine standing on the sidewalk. |
